Dead battery from sitting won't start from jump or trickle charger?

Thanks enginecreator for the advice. Needed a new battery and its on, but now the front & rear interior reading lights won't turn off. Checked fuses in the box under the hood but none of them seemed to be for those lights...not sure what to do now?

The under the dash (drivers side) fuse panel should have it, but it may have others on it too, do you have a aftermarket radio if so it may have the radio put on that wiring and now will stay on? Some cars have another smaller fuse panel on passenger side kick panel. The reading light should have a switch to turn them off, Sometimes its the headlight switch you turn it, or the dash dimmer is turned too far.
