LED odometer etc lights
When the headlite switch is on or in auto position, the led panel lites go very
dim, this odometer, trip a trip b also the radio time etc all the same green led
indicators. the alternator voltage is steady at 14.5 volts.
measure the ground potential at the display...perhaps the instrument panel can use another ground strap...if the current one is rusty or messed up~
Mine did that too but then i found that i had the dimmer for the dash lights on. Maybe thats your problem.
yep...put a liitle kid in the front seat..and he'll be monkeyin' with the controls and....yep probably dimmed you down while you weren't looking~
no kids here U don't understand . these led odometer has nothing to do with indicator light dimmer. They automatic dim when you turn head lights on. but they dim even if you place switch in the automatic headlite mode with the lites off. Ford said no adjustment. it is ok if I just work headlite manually. Again this has no associaton with the instrument lighting or dinng control. I am thinking the power supply for these has dropped lower.
well you got it kid...measure with a multimeter to see where is the show starting to leave town~
