Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Awhile back ago my check engine lights been on and when I checked it, it said gas
cap. I replaced the gas cap then It came back on a week later and it said it was gas
cap again. so I kept driving on it.  Eight months later I went to start the truck and it
kept cranking for like 10 sec then it eventually starts. When I was driving on the
highway going 65 the check engine light kept flashing and beeping until i slowed down
again.  I went to autozone and they tried connecting the obd and they said it wont link
so I took it to two other places and the same thing happened.  Please someone help
me.  God Bless you all

One of the connectors on the OBD plug might be damaged, have a reputable mechanic look it over for you.

Do you mean the actual plug in thing or one of the wires that connects to it and its somewhere hidden and I have to find it.. Thank you for taking the time and answering!

One of the prongs in the OBD plug under the dash or the wiring. Surprised one of your mechanics didn't have an answer.
