OEM was 17"wheel, dealer upgrade to18"---must get new tires (ciurrently Duhlers 265/65/18) and replace the wheels--I want the same ride and no other changes so,
is it best to get 17" or 18" wheels?

Why are you replacing the wheels? If you want the same ride, stick with the 18's.

Curbed a tire and blew it out. All wheels were damaged during a two tire replacement several years ago.
