Look on your manual of your car and it well let you know how to reset it, if that don't woek you may need to bring it into the sealeraship to have it reset..

It's not the battery. Lights are fully illuminated. I believe it's an anti theft system problem, bit not sure.

Having the same problem. 2005 sxt 3.6. Did you ever get it fixed or figure out the problem?

If, like the original question, you're getting a solid red light directly under gas gauge, the problem depends on which light that is. Security lights flash and don't run solid. The other two that could relate to the subject problem are the battery light and the CEL, and it could be that both are illuminated. If it's the battery light, it's possible that when you try to start the car, the lights work, but the starter just doesn't turn, or it turns slowly. It doesn't take much juice to power the lights, but it takes a LOT to turn the starter. You likely just have a dying battery, and that can cause the car to not communicate properly with the key fob as well. Have that checked, and if the battery tests OK, but just doesn't have a charge, it could be that a failing alternator isn't charging the battery properly. If the solid light is just the CEL, or engine light, the failure is probably in the electrical, fuel, or signal delivery to the engine and there are too many possibilities to consider without a proper diagnostic evaluation. I could tell you to go to a car parts store and get codes read, probably free. But if you don't know how to fix cars, just have a mechanic diagnose and fix the problem.
