A/C blows colder on driver side, passenger side is warm

Asked by Apr 30, 2016 at 11:45 PM about the 2004 BMW X3 3.0i

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

For whatever reason the a/c blows cold (not freezing) on the drivers side, not the passengers side. The car is an older model but only has 78,000 miles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because I'm sure the dealer will say to replace the whole thing.

The air duct on the passenger side could have came loose or puctured ..

Actuator or servo is bad the dealers scan tool ( ICOM-2 scanner) can check it in 5 minutes.
