Fuel sending unit

Do I have to drop the tank to replace the fuel
sending unit in a 2004 Mazda rx8

Look above the tank inside the car, like in the trunk or under the rear back seat for an access panel to get threw. If you do not find one then yes, it would have to come down, but there should be one to get threw.
