My Car Is Misfiring....What Should I Do?????
My Car Is misfiring.....so I replaced all spark
plugs And even put on a New
gasket......Neither of those didn't work so
then I let it run while one at time I removed
each connector to the coil......I Only did the
3 that wasn't covered by Tha manifold and
what do you know.....one of the coils seem
to not have any response, so I bought a
new coil...... put it on...... Still no response.
#This Have happened before and the
Dealership replaced my
computer(pcm).......Because they said that
it was bad.......4 Years later in having the
same issue.......what do you Say?
#Computer(pcm) At The Dealership Cost
me about $2300.00(1yr warranty)
.......But I found some online for
you shouldn't have to replace your computer within 4 years of it being brand new. but i suppose this could be a common problem. i would recommend having the dealership scan it since they know what to look for when a computer goes and if they say it is the computer look one up online but if you can get one as cheap as 300 bucks i wouldn't expect the lifetime warrantee
I WILL HAVE THE DEALERSHIP CHECK MY COMPUTER BEFORE I REPLACE IT......THANKS FOR THA HELP! #I FOUND THIS WEB SITE.....UNDER $300.00, LIFE-TIME WARRENTY, AND NO NEED FOR TAKING TO THE DEALERSHIP TO BE PROGRAMMED....CUZ IT WILL BE DONE WHEN THEY SEND IT: Dodge Charger PCM ECM ECU Engine Computer http://store.allcomputerresources.co m/dochpcmecmec.html
well site looks legit. i hope this solves your problem. all the luck :)
Okay Thanks......I Sincerely Appreciate Ur Help!
All computer resources is legit and they by their warranty. I have a 06 charger with the 3 5 and it only has 65000 miles on it. P0301 always pops up but no rough idle or anything. I have replaced absolutely everything that may affect it and it still appears. I know it's time for the timing belt to be redone and I'm curious if wear in the belt teeth could be responsible for the timing being off just that tiny bit to throw that code. Other than the PCM... I am at a total loss.
