I got a blown head gasket on my 03 pontaic
Montana van, the guy went to put on my head
gasket and said my motor wasn't no good. I had a
tested rannes on it and it only came back the the
head gasket was bad not the motor
So what is he saying is bad with the motor? Other than just saying it is bad there has to be a reason.
Right, have him show what is wrong. After I pull a head i usually look at the cylinder walls for any problems like scouring or cracks or even if the block is blue from excessive heat. So nail him down to why he didn't see it before he got ready to put it back together, I do hope the heads were pressure tested and shaved before they were going back on.
