2004 santa fe, is there a way to reset remote starter

I recently changed the battery, my problem is that my remotes work to lock and unlock the doors, but the remote start doesn't work now, all it does is flash the lights  .....  any ideas???

Typically there is a lead that runs directly to the battery. Did you perhaps leave this lead off?

I'm guessing this is a aftermarket remote start... Can you tell me what brand it is?
