Driver door lock will not lock with key in keyhole and/or keyfob.

2003 LS with door code entry- The other doors will lock and unlock with key fob. What would cause the driver door not to work?

I realized that the culprit is a broken door latch assembly. I replaced the left front door latch mechanism and it works fine. I could hear loose broken part inside assembly when removed. Ordered used part on ebay
