How much would it cost and what all would need changed to do an sti swap on an 02 impreza outback sport
Frequent some Subaru forums, I'm sure someone has down the swap. My initial guess is it would be easier and cheaper to just purchase an STI...http://www.thesubaruforum.com/forum.php
I'm with Tom. It's a lot easier to get it the way the factory did it.
It's not cheap. You need the motor, trans, rear diff, all 4 stub axles and hubs, the brakes, the ECU and wiring harness. Basically all the powertrian and drivetrain and electronics.
Cheapest way to do it is to find a wrecked STI in a scrap yard that only has body dammage and buy it to swap everything over.
