Waiting to fix a/c

I just found out my ac condenser has a small leak,
but I have to go back to college a state away from
my house tomorrow and there was no way to order
the part in time. I decided when I come home on
break in a month I will get it fixed. Is there any
inherent danger to waiting? Obviously I will not use
the ac since it doesn't work anyway, I will just use
the fan to circulate the air in my car. I just don't
have the time right now to get it fixed or I would.
