2003 tahoe with bose system radio fuse keeps blowing
while driving my radio just died found fuse blown replaced fuse radio worked for 5 min
and blown fuse again , removed radio trim and lower console trim below steering removed brackets to see if wiring was cut , no wires that I can see was altered
It might be the amplifier. Its mounted under the center console cup holders. It can get pop and water spilled on it, which we all know is not a good thing for electronics. If it is sticky or showed signs of water stains it will need to be replaced.
not the amp ! found out when pressing parking brake and releasing then the fuse would blow ... any idea ?
Does it have an aftermarket remote start, alarm, DVD player or stereo?
Well then something in your wiring is very messed up. Best thing I can tell you is climb under the dash and look for something obvious not right. Cut or chewed wires or someone else's hack wiring job.
