Replaced engine now truck crank but no start

Asked by KennnnyROB99 Jul 13, 2024 at 08:42 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced engine in my 05 Tahoe LT 4x4 and now truck will crank but will not
start.  I have good fuel pressure at fuel rail.  I have brand new battery,
alternator, plugs, coils, wires.  Also all new AC Delco sensors to include
Crankshaft and Camshaft position sensors.  I checked power at each main coil
harnesses with key to ON position  and have power on pink wire on each side.
But no power on any other wire while key is in ON position and also while
attempting to start engine.

Security system reset? What does live data show, it doesn't have to run to get some of that information, Checked fuses? The other side will be a negative trigger signal.

Some vehicles are particular about fuel pressure , just having it won't do . Things can go wrong by pure coincidence while doing other work . Same as any no start , check for proper fuel pressure , spark and injector pulse

Check all your ground wires that go to the motor. A bad ground will cause a no start condition.
