05 tahoe stuck in 4x4 no lights

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 05 tahoe 5.3. I have the push button controls, they
stopped working about 6 months ago and didn't think
anything of it. At the same time I was getting a service 4x4
message. This week it randonly jumped into 4x4 low
during heavy rain and won't come out. Put a new encoder
motor, new push button, new actuator, and control module.
Still no lights working and won't come put of 4x4 low. Ran
codes and nothing is coming up. Any ideas on what I could
try next?

Is there power coming up to the switch? Did you get it scanned with a professional scanner to scan the 4wd module?

The switch flashes on when I first crank the truck then goes right back off. I'm really not trying to pay a shop to check the codes. If I can just get it put of 4x4 to get it home I can have somebody come look at it. It's stuck at my brother's right now. I'm thinking maybe its a wiring issue under the dash, noticed my passenger floor was wet after the rain. So thinking maybe rain got in and messed with the wiring?
