I have a 2006 jetta tdi my cooling fans run all the time when the car is running evenbefore it warms up and it doesn't matter if the ac is on or off
It sounds like someone rewired the circuit to turn on with the ignition. Did you just buy the car?
No I've had it for a year or so it just started a couple weeks ago
OK . a couple of things to check, the coolant temp switch may be out of specs causing the fans to turn on early, or if it is stuck closed that will turn on the fans almost as soon as the key is turned on. Make sure that your coolant is full. My best guess is the temp switch.
Where is the coolant temp switch?
Book says lower left corner of radiator.
Thanks I will take a look and let you know
