my 01 durango roars all the time no matter when its cold hot or engine is cool or hott any suggestions

could it be a cracked exhaust manifold? I've seen this condition~

Also a failed radiator fan clutch. Located between your fan and the water pump. Engine off, pop the hood and try to spin the fan, does it move? If it does it shouldn't spin more than a full revolution. If it doesn't move or moves too much, time for a new one. Get the correct one for your application. There is a thermal and non thermal. Did the noise just happen?
