engine shudder
Asked by rorygg Oct 22, 2011 at 12:17 PM about the 2005 Ford Expedition XLT
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
It's got 124K on the engine and it just started to have problems. The engine seems to shudder between 45-65 mph while maintaining speed. During acceleration this does not happen. I thought it might be mis-firing at first but then it should do it all the time not just at 45-65 mph. I heard it could be the Throttle Position Sensor which make sense to me but I have received mixed opinions from my local parts stores. Can any one help?
