Question type: Car Customization

I am trying to get the radio head unit removed to check out the capability of hooking something directly to the FM antenna.  I see no obvious way of getting the head unit out.  If I do remove it, is there any such capability of direct-wiring?

I would inquire as to availability of direct-wiring units at your local stereo shop. They may also have diagrams of how to remove the radio head unit.
