i have a 2005 ford explorer , I just replaced the rear taillights and brakelight bulb but only one side works on the brakes but all the rest of the lights work
First, swap the brake lights from side to side to make certain you did not insert a bad or wrong bulb. If it still does not work check the wiring hornace. The brake wires jump from one side to the other. Make sure you did not damage the wire. There could also be corrosion inside the sockets. Clean with electrical contact cleaner.
