I have a 2005 Ford Explorer /Eddie Bouer Edition. I am wanting to know if a 2003 Ford Ranger Transmission fit my Explorer

Should. Both use the 5R44E transmission. I believe. Check the ID plate on the tranny.

You can also check on the drivers side door on the white sticker. There may be a code (TR) followed by the transmission ID number.
