Got new car starter from Midas 2 weeks ago, they did full inspection found nothing else wrong. Now two weeks later, the car doesn't start, they say it's bad alternator, can this happen?
Not sure, I wasn't there, but you can always take it somewhere else for a second opinion. Easy to miss the obvious most times.
Can an alternator go bad within two weeks?! When it was fine before??
So your saying they replace the alternator as well as the starter? You didn't say that in your question. If it was a remanufactured one, then yes, they can go bad, some are right out of the box.
