high rpm's

My acura integra has a honda gsr vtec motor in it
and my rpm's are pushing 4500 at 70 mph but I
break VTEC at 5k so I burn lots of oil so how do I
reduce the rise in rpm's

Install a higher set of gears in the differential (lower numerical).
