Need to find my 1972 Mustang Mach1
Bought the car new at Bill Graham Ford in Bradenton I had special ordered it
when I picked it up The Fl tag was 15-14796 the following year I changed it to
16-15. Sold it about 22 years ago to help take care of my Mothet after my
Dad died, It was a 1972 medium bright yellow, side stripes, Delixe interior
Black in color, console, 351 Cobra Jet with a 4 speed, A/C,PS,PB, AM radio.
My Dad never wanted her in a nursing home she did not walk and needed
daily care, I gave my word to my Dad but my brother and sister placed her in
a home I was the youngest of five I got her out and she lived with my family
for 6 years. I am slowly going crazy thinking about my car and now I doubt
about keeping my word to my Dad any one Help
Knowing the VIN number would be helpful.
The vin number and a friend that is a cop might be able to quickly find it.
Check with all the Mustang clubs/registries, yours might be on one of them. Unfortunately I don't think there is a 'central clearinghouse' of such registries. Just have to go to each one and search. This of course assumes your car didn't end up in a crusher.
Give it up- let it go- you are talking about a mass-produced car- an assembly line creation- they were churned out like twinkies- just find another one like it- how do you think all this emotional attachment to an inanimate object is healthy? This is an issue for your therapist-
