Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have never seen oil pan with 3plugs in it. 1 plug hole as big as a lugnut on side of oil pan.1hole on bottom directly below it.and then the drain plug.I would like to obtain pics on power plant. I need some feed back.thanks

sounds like the car formerly had an accessory that required an oil line. 5.0s had 2 drain plugs because of the cross member that runs under the oil pan causing it to effectively be divided in 2 halves.
