What is the possibility of selling a 1971 mustang convertible that has been improperly stored. It has rust and mold.
It has been stored since 1979. It has 80,000 miles and a one owner car. It is lime green with dark green interior and a black convertible top. It is an automatic.
There are many unknown factors about the car so its hard to say. Does the car have a working engine or transmission of is it basically a rusty shell that would make it a good project for someone to completely restore? A good place to sell a car like that is ebaymotors. You'll see lots of 1971 Mustangs on there that range from $250 - $40,000. My advice is snap a few pictures and put it ebaymotors.com to see if there is any interest.
Can yoy tell me more about and where it is?
IF IT IS AS BAD AS THE ONE I HAVE IT IS WORTH A LOT MORE PIECE BY PIECE ON EBAY.
dont know your location but here in the north east we rebuild just about anything with matching numbers(original frame, moter, trans ,rear end in which case would be worth thousands .to the right person in the right shape (some rust and holes in body) int. shot id say 2500.00 to 6.000.00 just depends on how bad the body is
