Gas leak and gas fumes
A major problem with my 2004 Corvette. I
purchased car 30 days ago. From Auto
Nation. In Corpus Christi Texas. They
advised me to contact GM customer
service as GM was aware of this problem.
GM free repair expired 2014. Not there
problem anymore. GM coated me $4300.00
to fix it. Need some advive.
I see law suit in your future. The dealer you purchased it from should repair it free, but I have a feeling they will give you the run around. Im sure the car came with some sort of warranty? Most states have a 90 day or X amount of mimileage on used car sales.
You spent $4000 to have it repaired? So now it is fixed, what's the problem? Yes, Corvettes cost a lot of money- yes, buying a used car is a roll of the dice- next time, buy your vette from a private owner, see all the service records and have the owner take you on a test drive so you can see if he is a sensible driver or more like a Nascar racer-
