changed fuel pump now truck wont start has spark and is getting fuel ???

Drove from Ontario to Alberta ..Stopped for fuel in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan than truck
wont start ..sat for three hours than truck fired up drove to Lethbridge Alberta. parked truck
for two days went to store a mile away truck woudlnt start was told to replace fuel pump.
changed pump now truck still wont start ???? has spark getting fuel ...is it possible that
even though its getting spark its not enough ????

Yes,sounds to me like coil pack may be bad,if you are getting fuel.Should have strong blue spark.

Pull a plug wire,stick screwdriver in it stick close to something metal that will ground ,have some one else,turn truck over,look for good blue hard spark,and for your safety stay away from moving parts that could hit you.

yes checked plugs on both sides lots of spark....which relay and fuses do i check ..have looked on line cant find find same diagram as one i have ...for relay it says 49 but i have 49a and 49b but i still cant find which fuse...

also do you know were the shraider valve is located so i can check fuel pressure ????

TopShadeTree- you got a guy that between your answer on checking spark and him reporting back --took only 20 minutes AND NOW he's asking about a value on a first name basis but he can't find it?????Say good-bye to him.

Should be on fuel rail,if you test and get fuel,you might want to check your crank sensor,might not be giving correct postion of crank therefore not sending correct amount of fuel pressure to your injectors.

Please help also the guys that worked. On truck went to pick a part and did not get housing and wire for fuel pump so they ended up sodering wires
