If I replace the ignition on my 2007 chevy
impala do I have to have to the new keys
that   came wirh the new ignition programed
to the car or should the car start with out
doing that

If you are replacing the keys and tumblers then yes the keys will have to be reprogrammed, if your replacing the switch then no it won't. Remember to use the preset saver if you deem it necessary to disconnect the battery.

Yes but contact your local Chevy Dealer. Your Impala may be involved in GMs latest ignition switch recall. HTH. -Jim
