My 2006 Highlander is slipping between 35-40 mph with 75000 miles. Is this a popular problem? Any suggestions?

Have your local Transmission specialist, dealer or mechanic diagnose your issue. Sounds to me like an internal transmission issue, but could be something simple as a shift soleniod. Good Luck. The longer you wait the worse it will get.
