Please need help I have a 2007 crysler town and country and the airbag light came on. And I took it to the dealer and did a diagnosis and told me that I needed a new seat belt and a seat recalobration is needed. My question was what If I get a after market seat belt and install it and go in the dealer and have them just calibrate it would the light turn off !???
What is this "recalibrate"? would not pulling the black cable for a minute or so subject the systems to a full drain (nullifying any capacitive tendencies) then put the cable back on...would this not have the same effect as a "global reset"?
unless your electronics have a EEPROM in the works (example Flash drive) built in---and is always going to remember your trouble codes---- unless recurring then pullin' the black cable won't mean nuthin'~
these are switches...right?...the belt closure switch and the weight applied to the doompah pad switch...could we test these switches at the connector?
