Can't fill up with gas

Asked by Tpikula Apr 16, 2016 at 10:07 AM about the 2007 Chrysler Town & Country LX LWB FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can only get about a cup of gas into tank per
squeeze at the pump. Gas gushes back out all of
the time. Have punched out every conceivable seal
running from spout to tank. Same problem. Bought
a new damn gas tank and installed it. Same
problem. What is going on with my minivan?

it sounds like the vent is plugged or damaged. wont allow air to escape when filling.

Is this an easy fix assuming that I would have to replace the vent?
