Red to positive. Black to ground. your rig might have jump point in the positive, it will have a red box around it and you can open and attach the jumper there. do not use a running vehicle to jump the dead vehicle, charging system failure can be caused by doing it that way. A word of warning, late model vehicles alternators are not designed to charge a dead battery, doing so shortens the alternators life. As your rig is an 07 you just can't take the battery out without loosing all of the rigs presets, so you would need the saver tool before removing the battery. HTH
