I have a 1987 Fierro and was on my way home from getting groceries when it back fired and died. It still has power but it won't start? Help????? Spark plugs? Fuel pump?

Usually back fire mean,s a timeing issue,but check and make sure you have fuel,and fire at plug,s,then check the timeing.
