MY 84 FIERO'S FRONT RIGHT WHEEL SHAKES,BUT EVERYTHING UNDERNEATH LOOKS GOOD-ANY IDEAS ??
FRONT RIGHT TIRE SHAKES LIKE HELL OVER 55 MPH,BUT EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD UNDERNEATH.(BUSHINGS/TIE ROD..ETC.)
I'd inspect the tire and balance first. If those check out, maybe the rim is bent or has a flat spot.
OK- everything "looks" good- you have to do more than "looking"- something is obviously wrong, and you should have a front end shop check it out- are you worried about spending money? Man, cars are expensive, especially cool old cars-
Agree with Tom and Jamnblues, also check the wheel bearing and strut. Wheel vibration at speed has a tendency to get worse pretty quickly as it wipes out all the connected parts. Hopefully it's a tire issue, but check all the front end components anyhow.
Do what everyone else said and while it is in the air and you have the wheel off check to see if there is play where the tie-rod comes out of the steering rack. There is a plastic bushing in there under that rubber boot. good luck.
