Intermittent not working brake light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Every so often my rear passenger side brake light stops
working. Bulbs not burn out, no corrosion. Once I remove
the bulb to check and replace, it seems to work just fine for
a while. I have used some of the "bulb gel" to prevent
corrosion. Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem and tried the exact same steps as you with my 1998 Acura 3.0 CL. For me, it is the driver side rear turn signal. Have you had any luck? It seems to be happening more often vs a year ago.

I stopped trying to repair it. Transmission started slipping so I parked it for the time being
