how do I get the ac to blow out of the front ac vents instead of the top and side defrost vents
have a 2007 gmc envoy ac stopped blowing through the front ac vents and now it blows air through the top. and side defrost vents
The blend door cable may have come off or a bad blend switch
.....I know it has been a year, but I am unsure where Firebird pulled his answer from. Turn AC off, disconnect battery, let it sit for 5 minutes. Reconnect battery, turn key into on position, with AC still off, let it for another 5 ( Should work in 2, but why risk a headache over 3 minutes). Turn car off, let sit 2 minutes, turn car on and check AC. You may simply needed to reset the actuators. If that does not work, check your fuse box. There are 3 fuses. If all are good you will need to move on to your blower motor resistor. Look up videos on youtube to test/replace it.I am reasonably sure it is simply a calibration issue
I hope you see this, I tried what you explained and I'm still having the issue. I also have taken the actuator off and watched it moved to a new position every time I switched the position with the button
