while driving home tonight, my battery light and brake light came on on my dashboard, a few miles later all of the dash board lights came on however the light illuminating the dash board went very dim, then dark, my headlights turned off as I pulled ion my driveway and now nothing electrical works including the car will not start.  thoughts?

Possible alternator, bad alternator will kill the battery then the car as you described. See if you jump the car if possible. If is starts then I would say the alternator is no good. I would try to get it load tested...
