Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Happened to be near my 07 LInc TC Signature Limited, the air suspension compressor came on. Car was off, key out of ignition and locked. What would cause this?, as the compressor should not run with key turned off-should it?

My 1998 does the same thing. Have heard it do at least three times.

Thanks for your reply, yeah this seems weird, would not think the compressor could activate on, with no power from key ignition being off and key out of car. Anyway will keep checking on this and hopefully get resolved, Maybe this is the way it supposed to work? don't seem right though, and could run battery down. Thanks PHR

Thanks GEoldfart, I did find on a TC forum. The RAS air compressor has a 60 minute time delay, after key is turned off, where the RAS is still powered and can start compressor, to air up the air springs to normal trim heigth level. Don't know if thats good or bad.
