I replaced the ignition switch on a 2007 kia spectra , now the key assy wont fit back in

Sounds like you got the wrong switch or the one you got is defective (boxed wrong). Take it back and compare the original one to the replacement one while at the store. HTH. -Jim

ty i'll let you know what I find out,

I had to put the key assy. in first , then put in the ignition switch. That's the only way it would fit.
