what does service tpm mean?
I believe it stands for "service Tire Pressure Monitor." At least, other vehicles have a TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
Service TPM means "Service Tire Pressure Monitor" The first thing that will need done is to relearn the TPM.The vehicle sounds like it's confused as to the correct location of tire pressure sensors. Whenever the tires are rotated this procedure has to be performed. If that procedure was performed then this could possibly be a faulty TPM sensor but will need scanned to confirm the problem.
My Hummer H3 just had that light come on and than it went out.
2006 humer 3 Serv TPM
My car have problems stater
I had issues with the serve tpm light on my 2006 h3. I ran the reset sequence and found that the horn did not beep on the rear passenger tire but it did on the other three. figured the sensor is bad so I checked the spare and it was low so I inflated it and ran the sequence again but this time I did the spare instead of the rear passenger tire. horn beeped on spare. serve tpm light has not come back on. the system recognizes 4 sensors. now I now I need a new sensor for the passenger rear tire. at least I don't have that annoying light on anymore and I will have to eyeball the passenger rear tire for flats, lol.
Just bought a 06 H3. Display reads "system pression" what does that mean? Can't find anything in manual. Keeps saying tire pressure when I Google it.
Renee, your language is not set to English. When you switch to English I believe it will read Service TPM
How do you cycle to see if it's the tire pressure monitor? I just bought my h3 so I have no clue
