TPS measure the position of the throttle body butterfly valve to help communicate to the ECM how much fuel to push into the cylinders. You can take off the sensor and measure the resistance of the switch to see if it is bad or just replace it. It is fairly common that they wear out. A bad TPS will effect how the vehicle performs. For the other codes I would check the battery connections and the ground to the body. Make sure they are clean and making good contact. If you aren't comfortable working on cars then yes you should take it to a mechanic. Good luck
I like the idea of just blowing it up- and remember, friends don't let friends buy Range Rovers-
Well I got one of two cars running I had posted a question about a 1986 lummina ltz that wouldn't start and to the gentlemen that suggested replace fuel pump, strainer, fuel filter,& fuel pump relay you hit it out of the ball park and I did it all myself hardest part was getting fuel out of the tank after that it was unbelievably easy and light the gas tank you would think it would be made of some heavy duty metal but this one was reall lite
