Do I drain the oil on my 1997 Subaru impreza 2.2
before I remove the heads to get to a fuel or
exhaust valve

Left hand threads? I doubt it as there is no reason for backwards threads.

Ok awesome cause this one bolt is causing me havoc trying to get it off
