replaced my key battery and now it wont open the door locks I have done all the suggested fixes. would diconnecting the car battery reset the key and car sinc?

well I guess it is always good to think out loud. I just tried the disconect idea and.... it worked! this problem and some like it were being discussed on others Questions. it might work on any key related problems.
