Saab 9-3 1999 Convertible AC

I have a Saab 9-3 1999 convertible, the AC doesn't come out cold until the temp needle
goes half way up, is there anyway of fixing this as I live in Australia and it's really hot all
the time. It had the manual dial system.

It's the FAE Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor also known as Temperature Sender Sensor
