coolant level system problem 96 oldsmobile ninety-eight

keeps saying coolant level sys prob. how do I fix it?

Unplug the sensor. If the light on the dash goes off the sensor is bad. Sometimes they get dirty and can't "see" the coolant. If you recently replaced the radiator you may have to drill out the hole for the sensor. If the hole is not drilled out the sensor will remain dry and keep the light on. If you unplug the sensor and the light on the dash stays on there's a short in the wiring or the instrument cluster is bad. HTH. -Jim
