The car will  start over but its like its not
getting any gas

Depending on the size of your engine, fuel pressure generally should be 30 to 44 lbs.

Not sure on labor cost, but a fuel pump can run up to $80 and if it needs the fuel pump sender assembly they can run up to $120. These prices are toward the higher side, it all depends on the brand name. If you don't hear the fuel pump prime up with the key on, should check the fuel pump relay first. Also there is a fuel pump strainer attached to the pump in the tank that could be full of crap.
