Car shuts off when brake pressed

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i press the brake down to shift into gear the
car immediately losses power. In order to regain
any power it needs to be jumped.

Turned out to be a bad ground connection on the battery. I am replacing the post screw on the terminal.
