2006 Mercury Mountaineer

Asked by Chas Feb 16, 2019 at 03:23 PM about the 2006 Mercury Mountaineer V8 Luxury AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The radio works, but the words and whatnot don't
show anymore. The lights don't come on the inside
when I open the doors. I'm assuming a fuse issue,
but I can't find a video showing me how to get it as
it's not under the hood and that's all I find. Anyone
have a video and or advice?

The accessory fuse panel is located under the dash at the driver's left knee. It is just above where the parking brake lever is located. It is about 6 inches long and hides up there very well so use a flashlight, lay on your back and look up into the dash cavity. You will see it.
